Impact's unusual Mini-DTX form factor is a deliberate choice. Many Mini-ITX cases ship with enough space for a dual-slot graphics card, meaning there's typically unused space below the bottom PCIe slot - space that could be utilized to mount more components or enable additional features. Being marginally taller than mini-ITX allows Impact to exploit this unused space, allowing ROG engineers to squeeze in features while still fitting a large proportion of mini-ITX PC cases.
ROG patented pre-mounted I/O shield
A convenient fit for all cases.
Impact control IV
Onboard control card adds BIOS Flashback, Clr CMOS, Q-Code and FlexKey* functionality, simplifying firmware access, updates, and debugging.
Addressable RGB Headers
Allows connection to a vast portfolio of Aura Sync-capable PC gear.
Water Flow / Water In & out headers
Enables constant monitoring of coolant temperatures and the flow rate of the entire loop to ensure the best cooling performance.
90 degree connector
Onboard connectors are deliberately perpendicular to the board, aiding cable-management and a tidy build.
We've fully exploited the extra space afforded by Impact's Mini-DTX form factor to dedicate more space to the board's VRM and chipset cooling design.
Active VRM and Chipset Combo Heatsink
- Dual Custom Delta Superflo Fans: The custom low-noise fans feature a high-durability bearing with a 60,000-hour L10 lifespan.
- Dual-Intake Fan Bracket: A unique brace design recesses the fans to enable reliable ventilation in tight spaces.
- Finned Heatsink: The heatsink fin density is optimized to maximize surface area while maintaining a low-resistance exhaust path.
